FAQ

The Visa Process can seem all that bit overwhelming but fear not, we have made a list of everything you need to know and have before starting the process.

  • GRANTED, AGE IS JUST A NUMBER, HOWEVER...: In order for you to be granted a Visa you must be 18-35 (inclusive).
  • PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS: You must be able to prove you have CAD$2,500 in support funds when you enter Canada. Be able to take out health insurance for the duration of their working holiday visa in Canada (participants may have to present evidence of this insurance at the point of entry in Canada).
  • VISA ELIGIBILITY: You must be holding an Irish passport which is valid for the duration of your stay in Canada (the work permit issued will not be longer than the validity of the passport) *for any other passport holders please contact our visa specialists for eligibility*
  • VISA VALIDITY: Once your visa is granted, you have 12 months to enter Canada. From the time of entry, you can then stay for up to 2 years
