Declan Nerney continues to be the standard-bearer in the Irish Country Music scene - whether it's top hits such as "The Marquee in Drumlish" or "Stop the World (and let me off)" or his award-winning Hooley in the Sun, which for 23+ years has set the standard for Irish Country Music Holidays abroad - and is still going strong! Declan has always had his finger on the pulse! Declan, in collaboration with Cassidy Travel Events, are delighted to present the INAUGURAL Declan Nerney River Cruise in April 2027, sailing the majestic Amstel River in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is just the start, as Declan on the Danube plans to sail the incredible Danube River, Budapest in 2028 (Coming Soon! Register your interest now!), and beyond! Declan & his band are delighted to be joined by two very special guests for this river cruise: John McNicholl & Robert Mizzell!
John McNicholl is an award-winning Irish country star known for such hits as 'Heavenly' and 'Walk Down the Aisle with Me'. Hailing from Co. Derry, John celebrated 20 years in the country music industry in 2024. John has won numerous awards through the years and represented Ireland in Dollywood at the festival of nations. He has shared the stage with Reba McEntyre, Lonestar, Ricky Skaggs - as well as our nations' own talented country singers! John is also a regular on Declan's award-winning Hooley in the Sun!
Robert Mizzell was born in Louisiana and proudly rooted in Ireland, Robert Mizzell has become one of the leading voices in Irish country music. With a career spanning over two decades, chart-topping albums, and a loyal fanbase across Ireland, the UK, and beyond, Robert brings a unique blend of Southern charm and Irish heart to every stage he steps on. Robert is also a regular on Declan's award-winning Hooley in the Sun!

Emerald Deck - Included
Standard Suites on the Emerald Deck offer around 16 square metres of well-planned space. With fixed windows, they provide natural light while creating a comfortable, private setting to relax in. Twin beds can be arranged as a double, with space to sit and unwind during your time on board. Each suite includes individual climate control, along with a mini fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities, including a Nespresso machine. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and a range of toiletries.
Ruby Standard Cabin - Supp. of +€150pp
Our Standard Suites located on the Ruby (Middle) Deck offer around 17 square metres of well-planned space, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a French-style balcony, bringing in natural light and views of the river. Twin beds can be arranged as a double, with a seating area where you can relax during your time on board. Each suite includes individual climate control, along with a mini fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities, including a Nespresso machine. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and a range of toiletries.
Ruby Superior Cabin - Supp. of +€450pp
Our Superior Suites offer around 23 square metres of space, with a larger living area designed for comfort and ease. The additional space creates a more open feel, giving you room to relax throughout your stay. Large floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors allow in plenty of natural light and provide open views of the river. You’ll find the same thoughtful design and well-chosen furnishings as in our standard suites, creating a setting that feels calm, practical and easy to enjoy.
Diamond Standard Cabin - Supp. of +€250pp
Located on the Diamond (Upper) Deck, our Standard Suites offer around 17 square metres of well-planned space, designed for comfort and ease. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to a French-style balcony, allowing in plenty of natural light and giving you open views of the river. Inside, twin beds can be configured as a double, with space to sit and relax during your time on board. Each suite includes practical, well-considered touches and the en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and a range of toiletries
Diamond Superior "Stern" - Supp. of +€350pp
Located on the Diamond (Upper) Deck our Superior Suites offer around 23 square metres of space, with a larger living area designed for comfort and ease. There’s more room to relax throughout your stay, while large sliding glass doors bring in natural light and open up views of the river. You’ll find the same well-considered design and furnishings as in our standard suites, creating a space that feels calm, practical and easy to enjoy.
Diamond Superior Cabin - Supp. of +€450pp

Deluxe Balcony Suite - Supp. of +€560pp
Located on the Diamond Deck, these Deluxe Balcony Suites offer extra room to relax, at around 25 square metres – approximately 50% larger than our standard cabins. The added space creates a more open, comfortable living area, along with a private balcony with table and chairs. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a quiet coffee in the morning or take in the passing scenery later in the day. Inside, you’ll find the same thoughtful design as our standard suites, with a few added touches including soft bathrobes and slippers to make your stay that little bit more comfortable.
